TALES FROM OTHER WORLDS
Chocobo Band, an Italian band which rearranges the best moments of Final Fantasy saga soundtracks, announces the release of its second album, “Tales from Other Worlds”.
While their previous work “Shuffle or Groovy” was an intimate and experimental journey through some of the most famous songs, this new excursus throughout the series’ settings is drenched in powerful and epic atmospheres, which will let you experience the same emotions felt during the games’ most heart-rending moments, in a progressive rock / symphonic metal flavour. The songs in the album, which span most of the saga’s chapters, are rearranged by the band’s personal touch in order to ensure a cinematic and impactful rendition. In addition to the complex orchestral arrangements and the layers of modern electronic elements, an entire choir has been recorded live to underline the most epic sections. Romantic iconic ballads will be there too, to let you dream of melancholic atmospheres just before going head-on towards the next exciting boss battle.
Chocobo Band’s new album “Tales from Other Worlds” is now available on all major digital platforms.

THE BAND
The idea of a Final Fantasy tribute was born in 2007 when the musicians and Final Fantasy lovers Mike Pelillo, Gabriele Lei and Riccardo Barbieri went to Nobuo Uematsu's orchestral concert, a unique event in Italy. Almost as if it were a joke, these guys wondered about forming a tribute band to the composer's songs.
Three years later, that dream came true: the line-up became the same as "The Black Mages"' one with the drummer Alessandro Lugari, the other keyboard player Giacomo Ferrari and the other guitarist Salvatore Zappalà. The repertoire is made up of covers and interpretations of songs by "The Black Mages", but also of other famous Uematsu's compositions bound to the Final Fantasy saga. "Chocobo Band" decides then to include another member: the opera singer Beatrice Bini. Our show covers 2 hours, from the most famous melodies of the bestselling chapters of the saga to some songs devoted to real experts. We vary between instrumental and sung (by male and/or female voice) pieces. The feedback of our fans revealed to be excellent, both live and on the web.
